Community Growing in North Hull
We’ve been maintaining trees, shrubs and wildlife areas, growing vegetables and salad crops, and holding crafting activities in our community garden since 1998
Get some fresh air. Our garden is a beautiful spot where you can hear the birds singing and see life all around you.
Meet new people. We are a friendly bunch and everyone is welcome. Come see for yourself – we’ll make you a cuppa!
Learn new skills. We can help you get going with some planting out and weeding, or maybe you can get creative with some painting.
There’s something for everyone
the garden will always welcome volunteers
join our women’s crafting group
take on a mini-allotment of your own
enrol in our after-school or holiday clubs
We’ve begun to reopen our gates in response to easing of coronavirus restrictions. Because the safety of staff, volunteers and visitors is paramount, access to the garden is provided by appointment only. But staff and trustees of the Garden are delighted that, along with other hygiene precautions, a newly built washing station has already allowed regular volunteers to benefit from arranged sessions.
If you’d like to book a session, you can either send a message to the Garden’s Facebook page or call Brenda on 07746 723804.
